Best Burger Joint in San Antonio
Never before in the history of burgers has one restaurant put so much thought into crafting
the in-between buns creation.
Straight off the grill with tell tale signs of perfectly seared lines left on each patty, there are hundreds of ways to make a burger, but only one place to visit if you want to take a bite out of burger heaven- Tycoon Flats.

Nestled conveniently in the heart of the Alamo city, at our family friendly restaurant basic won’t be found anywhere! Although we have a typical relaxed and causal atmosphere, what sets our establishments apart from others in San Antonio is our festive beer garden. Shaded areas are perfect to kick back with the kids at lunch time, while the open areas make for a great place to grab a beer after work. Having a full bar inside and outside, you will be able to enjoy yourself wherever you choose to sit! To keep you happy all week, our happy hour is everyday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and there is live music Wednesday-Sunday evenings. You are sure to have a good time at the Flats!
Our Burgers
If you’ve worked up an appetite, Tycoon Flats has been called one of the best burger joints in town, and for good reason. The burgers you will find here are bigger, better, and oozing whatever cheese you please. Try the Flats Famous Piggy Piggy burger with Canadian bacon, pepper jack cheese, creole mustard, and chipotle mayo to be wallowing in burger heaven in no time! If bacon isn’t your thing, we will be more than happy to customize your burger to be dry or piled high. Add-ons and toppings include guacamole, jalapenos, grilled onions or chiles, chili, queso, mushrooms, bacon, or our signature garlic reduction sauce. How could this place not have the best burgers in town? For children, our mini tyke burgers are made with all the juiciness and flavor of their big parents, but micro-sized with little hands in mind. All half-pound burger baskets are served with hand-cut chip or fries, or you can upgrade to sweet potato fries or onion rings. At this family friendly restaurant you, your kids, and your dog will all leave happy.
Other Menu Items
Although we have the absolute best burgers, they are not the only menu items we pay close culinary attention to. The fish tacos are handcrafted with fish, cheese, special sauce and wrapped in a corn taco shell. After seeing its gooey glory, you will have experienced love at first sight. If you are looking for healthier options, look for the heart on our menu. A few heart-healthy choices we have are the Greek Panini, fish tacos, salads with homemade dressings, or make any of our burgers a turkey burger or garden burger. For something different, order chalupas with Flat’s Salsa, a Chicago-style dog, home made fried pickles, or a hand-battered basket of mixed veggies. The possibilities are nearly endless! Stop by for lunch Monday-Friday and try a fish taco, dig into the best burger, or just chill with a drink.
